What this application is

LAMANE Ads Automation is an internal tool built and operated by SASU LAMANE. It connects to the Amazon Advertising API to read performance reports and adjust advertising campaigns for books published by LAMANE through Kindle Direct Publishing.

It is not a commercial product. It is not offered to other advertisers, and no third party can authorise it or use it. The only advertising accounts it ever connects to are those belonging to LAMANE.

What data it accesses

When you authorise this application through Login with Amazon, it can read and modify advertising data in the Amazon Advertising accounts you grant it access to:

• Advertising profiles and the marketplaces they belong to
• Campaigns, ad groups, keywords, product targets and negative targets
• Advertised products, identified by ASIN
• Performance metrics: impressions, clicks, spend, attributed sales and conversions
• Search term reports
• Campaign and budget settings, which the application may update

Authentication credentials

Authorising the application produces OAuth access and refresh tokens. These are stored so that scheduled reporting jobs can run without a person signing in each time. They are not personal data about you beyond identifying the advertising account they belong to.

Why it processes this data

A single purpose: managing LAMANE’s own advertising. In practice that means collecting performance reports across marketplaces, identifying search terms that spend without producing sales, adding those as negative keywords, and adjusting bids and budgets against a profitability target calculated per marketplace.

The data is never used for advertising to individuals, never profiled, never combined with data from other sources to build audience segments, and never used to train machine learning models.

Who it is shared with

No one. Data retrieved through the Amazon Advertising API is not sold, licensed, published, shared with partners, or disclosed to any third party. It is not sent to analytics services, advertising networks or external processors.

The only people with access are the authorised personnel of SASU LAMANE who operate the application.

Where it is stored, and how it is protected

• Data is stored on infrastructure controlled by SASU LAMANE, hosted in the European Union.
• All communication with the Amazon Advertising API uses TLS.
• Client secrets and OAuth tokens are held in a dedicated secrets manager, never in source code, configuration files or logs.
• Access is restricted to named accounts protected by multi-factor authentication.
• Every change the application writes back to an advertising account is recorded in an audit log.

How long it is kept

Campaign performance data is retained for up to 24 months, which is what year-on-year comparison of seasonal advertising requires. Older data is deleted.

OAuth tokens are deleted as soon as authorisation is withdrawn or the application stops being used.

Withdrawing access

You can revoke this application’s access at any time, without notice and without contacting us, from the Amazon Advertising console: open your account settings, find the list of authorised applications, and remove LAMANE Ads Automation.

Revocation invalidates the tokens immediately. The application loses all access to the account from that moment, and the stored tokens are deleted.

Your rights

Where this application processes personal data, it does so under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) on the basis of SASU LAMANE’s legitimate interest in managing its own advertising. You can request access to that data, its correction, or its erasure by writing to soulmakhzoune@gmail.com. We answer within one month.

If you consider that your data has been handled improperly, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at www.cnil.fr.

Changes

If what the application does with data changes, this notice is updated and the date in the header changes with it. Material changes are notified to anyone who has authorised the application before they take effect.
